Roy D. Graham Lifetime Achievement Award

ABOUT the ROY D. GRAHAM LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Not all Toastmasters achieve their DTMs. Statistics show that less than 2% of Toastmasters members worldwide have actually achieved DTM status. In addition to achieving the DTM designation, service to the district and its members is an important part in bringing to life the mission of Toastmasters. For those who consistently go above and beyond, an award for lifetime achievement provides appropriate recognition. See all previous District 1 recipients of this prestigious award.

“Dean” Roy Graham’s contributions to several districts in Region 2 and to the entire international organization were immeasurable. He dedicated 50 years of service to Toastmasters. He served as a District Governor in 1956 and as an International Director from 1958 to 1960. Thus, the 1989-90 District 1 Council approved the establishment of the award and the criteria for eligibility and selection.
